Happy indigenous people's week! Is that a thing? It should be a thing.

So yeah - just as I get this buffer re-built and things sorta back on track, I get another curve-ball thrown at me. I have a potential opportunity coming up, work wise, that would require me to move multiple states west and do so within the next couple weeks. It's a lot to think about, the comic will still get done and uploaded etc., I'm just worried about stress and stuff affecting the quality.

I'm not sure if it's a done deal or not, but I might be drastically changing my living situation soon. I could use some well wishing :')

I hope you're all doing well, have a great week!

"All of this is starting to make sense in my mind"

"I never thought I would be this comfortable with the idea"

Those are some MASSIVE red flags in the mythos universe. Or just red flags in general, I suppose.

I desperately want a British person narrating a nature documentary about what unspeakable (but pretty) thing is happening in the sky in panel 2.

Hmmm...it's a skywhale feeding on sky plankton, or a swarm of pirahna-thingies about to devour a skywhale.

(How's my David Attenborough impression?)

We see here the majestic "screaming blood whale" or the "xnthalophgihanzijEEM" as it is referred to by the local tribespeople.

The glowing dance we see is beautiful, yes, but one of death as well. For you see, this is the blood whale's final meal. Just 'neath its skin hundred of thousands of eggs have been gestating for months. After its hunger has been sated the blood whale will plummet earthward, the impact causing the myriad egg-sacks to explode, spilling the young to the ground.

The larval blood whales will be quick to find hosts, beginning the cycle of life once again.

You need some awful sentimental music in the background.

Good luck with the opportunity / moving. Don't worry about the odd gap or filler if inconvenient life gets in the way. We'll still all be here waiting for the next exciting episode when you get back.

Sorry that your name isn't showing up, I guess Comicfury has a bug going on that's making it so names aren't showing up even if you fill the field in? It's weird. I think this is Bob though... either way, thank you so much, I don't think it'll come to that! :)

Irwin needs the power, Thigg needs the body. They are the perfect match even if they were unwilling to help each other.

Also, since Irwin lost his arm (kinda) and now has Thigg replacing it... at this rate I wonder how much Irwin is going to be left after everything is done. Thigg might as well consume him whole later and reborn himself or something...

Everyone else has better input on the mythos, but for some reason the following popped into my head when I saw this scenery:

"From days of long ago,
From unchartered regions
Of the universe,
Comes a legend."

I guess being a fan of the original Voltron cartoon series sticks with you, even decades later. ;)

Awww I ship them now. I ship them in this manipulative toxic relationship.

I'm sending you the wellest of well-wishes, Seth! I am willing to go full hippie to try and cajole the universe into easing up on you a bit. Time to light some candles.

good luck with the job stuff. as for the possibility of uneven updates, it is always easier to be patient if we have some warning or notification beforehand. and you've been pretty good about keeping us in the loop so far.

Glad to see they're getting along again. If you want to have a healthy relationship with your roommate, you need to work things out.

Is Irwin wearing boots or is he Thigg from the knees down? It's interesting that Thigg is presenting their biological relationship as one of mutual influence. I laughed out loud at the commentary. Joeyballast also reads really well in a Steve Irwin accent.
My two cents on the job versus comic issue is that you have to take the long view. The comic is like a new business. It's off to a good start but it isn't self supporting yet. You may have to slow down a bit but it is a lot easier to produce a comic when you aren't worried about how you are going to cover the rent. Take care of yourself and the rest will work out.
