Hey, he's a tank now.
Now lets see if those two have any heavy artillery gear to punch through that armor.
... or something more accurate that can consistently hit the same point multiple times in a row. I mean, his skin's still cracking sommat from the energy blasts.
..... Yes I've forgotten the names of the three characters here other than Jaunt. There's no cast list I can check here either, which is annoying.
Blobby was ahead of Jaunt but Jaunt was slightly ahead of blobby so... Is he going to counter it? Hm.
Kind of cool the skin served its purpose right away even if Jaunt did not know about possible encounters.
Irwin needs to come up with something else because once a close range fighter gets close, it is over unless he charges Jaunt first.
I can actually hear the gun making slightly dulled blaster sounds, haha :D
Hah! XD Hey, check out my scar - I got it while dueling with some human with some crazy alien infection - it was pretty cool, shoulda seen it.
I don't tend to write a lot of female roles, myself, which is something I'm really kicking myself over because it's difficult to change a lot of what I've already set in motion. I didn't want to do the 'girl deep one' thing because I didn't want to make a token sort of character.
In hindsight, Imemi would have been pretty awesome as a female character. Damn.
There's some interesting parallels here. One of them is a fishman who is slowly changing into something that will be fish-"man" in name only: all fish, no man. The other is a human being whose body has been taken over by an alien lifeform. Hugh is probably the most human of the fishmen. Irwin is pretty much the least 'human' now of the human characters (that we know of). Perhaps in another life they might have been friends, but tragically, fate has forced them to be bitter enemies.
