The large panel at the bottom on this one took me a few, heh. I like how it turned out overall, thankfully.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Well, that's confirmed, heh.

One of the reasons why Nyarly's my favorite Elder God. He's always been his "own man", so to speak. Never quite know his loyalties or intentions or motivations.

Eh, I'unno how many points he should get for that. I mean, a fathomable Elder God just isn't trying...

"I want chaos and to spread insanity" is pretty fathomable. A lot of them seem to want that, heh.

Kidding aside, you're right, of course. Part of the whole idea is that the GOO's and Elder Gods work on levels we can't comprehend.

But on what level we _can_ comprehend through our fiction of them, it always seems like Nyarly's kind of a maverick compared to Cthulhu and Yog and Shub and Hasty (that's how I get around the name, suck it yellow guy!)

That's why in the Shadow Wars story verse, Nyarlathotep is the one who betrays the other Cosmics.

It's true that the elder gods are usually unfathomable, and there are still elements of it here, but in a long form plot like this I felt it would be better to have it be a LITTLE less esoteric in order to have a good payoff.

When I start doing shorter length stories I can be a little weirder I feel.

Multi-dimensional politics across space if needed. So uh, where do you start?
You think Jaunt's part was already pretty complex but no. It was probably different to those who are more familiar with the creatures but I personally started with "Jaunt is way too OP and he can destroy enemies no problem." and ended with "Jaunt is a low-tier convenient for pretty much every higher being pulling the strings and his powers are comparably none." Heh.

If I have to choose then I choose Thiggwin so he is kind of my main focus as the one character who I hope gets the most out of the politics. Hm.

---

Was it more complicated than Jaunt's mansion hallway back when he returned from the failed mission? Because I think you have yet to top that :O
Matter of opinion.

I'm glad that Jaunt's progression has come across the way that it has - that was intentional :)

Almost like an inverse hero-tale.. we'll see how it pays off. I hope I'm doing it correctly.

I'm ALSO glad you like Thiggwin - it's the sort of character that could have been a total eyeroll or a fan favorite. It seems like a lot of people like him!

----

When you said that THAT old page was my best I almost lost it, haha. I went back and looked at it and... it's fine! It's better than I remembered. But there's SO many pages with more detail that I've executed on XD

So... with Thigg's knowledge there may be some hope of achieving something. And the opposing side being slightly unfocused may help a bit, too. Still, the info is not where it had the best impact.

The line-art in the lower part of the page is IMHO outright awesome! But I wish you had used a bit more color in the last panel.

The information didn't go where it would be most useful, no, but it is out there. Let's see if something comes of it.. (though honestly if nothing did I would probably be an awful story teller.)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! And yeah, I can see that - the intent was to avoid cluttering the details with striking colors and using more monochrome, muted tones. Sorry it didn't work for you :(

Well as long as you're satisfied, isn't that all that matters?

And you know what? I really dig that panel, too.

The ability of talented artists to create 'just enough' background details has always impressed me; the third panel here is naughty less than a testament to such a form achieved with rare results - bravo!

Glimpsing new pages of this story never fail to excite me, upon viewing proper I find myself both pleased with the addition and eagerly awaiting the next. I appreciate that you find such time to continue it's creation, and will gladly hold out through any breaks you may need to take to see its return.

I'm a HUGE Mignola fan, and as far as I'm concerned he's the damn master of the form. I can only hope to understand and achieve that greatness some day.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm always happy when people are excited to read :) You rock!

I love the large panel. The palette is awesome. It has a lot of the vibe I "saw" when I read the stories. ^.^
