Hey all.

In the absence of working on the comic, I've been putting my time and effort into various things related to role playing podcasts/streams - finally one of my efforts is starting up. With a group of friends I've started up a new show, Non-Standard Action.

We're playing Starfinder, a sci-fi oriented game from the same people who made Pathfinder, and we're going to be playing the Dawn of Flame adventure path, which has our adventurers exploring the pact worlds sun, itself. The show itself is on sundays at 11 AM CST (-6:00 GMT), and yes, I am the GM ;)

We're planning on putting it out on Youtube and Podcast format as well.

As far as the comic goes, I haven't really felt like working on it again, yet. It's nice not having to spend all my time out of work working on it, being able to take some commissions and draw some characters I've never drawn before. This new show/podcast thing might make it difficult to start up the comic again, too, so.. still don't know. I'll keep letting you guys know when I have further developments, though.

I think it's better this way. Work on it when you're motivated, take a break when you're not. Sure, I look forward to seeing the comic move forward - but I've also got a story in my head that I'm having way too much trouble turning into a shareable medium at all.

Thanks for the update. Your new project sounds like something that is getting you excited once more. That is always good, wherever your path leads you. Don't look back until you can do so with acceptance that where you were has led you to where you need to be.

Take the time you need

As someone who just found this comic today and has just finished reading through the whole lot, I would say take your time and come back when you are ready. It is a fascinating read and I will be ready and waiting to continue once you are prepared.
